I am a speculative writer myself and know very well the issues and pitfalls we face while writing. I am not some industry insider who will prescribe what I feel like your story should be.
I believe you should not be focused on how to be “successful” and “what sells” while you are still writing. That pretty much kills your creative mojo. I focus on you as the author, as the creative, and enable you to to be the most effective you can be to write the story you want to write.
I also have 20 years experience in coaching non-native speaking researchers and students write and improve their research papers.

The monthly author coaching package includes 2 1-hr video call sessions plus up to 50 pages per week for me to review for you and as many email/chat correspondences as necessary between sessions. The fee is $285/mo with an initial 3-month commitment.
If you decide you would like a more intensive coaching with weekly call sessions and increased pages per week, it is an extra $95/month
If you want me to continue after coaching and be your professional editor, I have special rates below the average market rates for each editing phase, i.e., developmental, line, and copy.

I consider myself a good listener and questioner, which is essential for author coaching.
Because I am not as involved in your project as you are, I can be that practical to-the-point guide needed for a bit of clarity as well as a compassionate ear because I have been and still am in your shoes.
I leave my ego locked up in another room during my coaching. It is all about you and your story. I am here to talk you through and think about your art and yourself.
For technical editing/coaching, I have extensive experience in editing research and journal papers for researchers and students at major technology companies and universities.

I am not the right coach if you looking for help in the publishing process, e.g., query letter writing, finding an agent, and self-publishing process. I am solely focused on helping you allow yourself to be as creative as you can be first and foremost.
